Concert review: Sade at Amway Center Soundboard Music Blog .

An arena doesnt look like the better place for a Sade concert.

The Nigerian-born singer, best known for her rival with slinky pop ballads such as Smooth Operator and Sweetest Taboo is best suited to a smoky lounge, where the songs could go down as easily as bourbon over ice.

Yet Sade did her better to reduce the palatial Amway Center on Sunday, where she headlined a card with neo-soul man John Legend, whose energetic style is more arena-sized.

THE Reality OF PRINCESS JULIA : WHY SADE'S STILL GOT IT!

We made the pilgrimage to see Sade and her band perform after an absence of 18 days at the O2 Arena last night. I didn't take any preconceptions but I was hoping for a chain of her better known songs from the 80's I must confess! I was also intriqued to see Sade working her definitive style. I wasn't disappointed on both counts.
Sade rules, she actually does.

Themajority of songs on Soldier of Love continue to eke out all the painfrom Sade`s main themes, which are frequently about love found with sorrow, and love lost with yet greater sorrow.
