Valparaiso kept the game close throughout the 1st half, but Butler took advantage of three second half turnovers and turned them into points as the Bulldogs defeated the Crusaders 42-14 to retain the Hoosier Helmet on Saturday afternoon at the Butler Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Crusaders outgained the Bulldogs 463-400 on the afternoon, but scored just twice in five trips into the red zone and the three turnovers turned into 21 Butler points.

My friends can testify that I`m typically so mad with hyper energy that I`m up out of my seat dancing, singing every son and I incline to make the folks around me wonder if I traded a little piece of my sanity for my can at the show. But when I got the chance to find one of my favorite acts in the story of music (Sade) take the stage, I couldn`t even act a fool - and that wasn`t for want of enjoyment.

After what seemed an eternity, the beautiful UK singer is binding on the touring circuit again. Thankfully, the Canadian leg of her tour brought her through Montreal`s Bell Centre right in the middle of Jazz Fest.
One would believe that after releasing a major album last year Ms. Adu would be adamant about getting us to know her new material.
Growing up, between my parents` vinyl and CD collections we were well-stocked with the superlative and latest in R & B and hip-hop from vintage Isley Brothers, Average White Band, and Atlantic Starr (whatchu know about that? ) to A Tribe Called Quest, Jodeci, and Maxwell. On the weekends while doing housework (cleaning, laundry, ironing), weplayed records and CDs -from first cut to last -by the likes ofAnita Baker, Michael and Janet,Stevie,and, yes, Sade.
